Here is an EASY, DELICIOUS & NUTRIENT-DENSE RECIPE that will wow everyone!
GRILLED FRUIT SUNDAES🍨🍓
INGREDIENTS:
6 cups assorted fruit, sliced (berries/stone fruits are ideal & in-season 😉)
2 ⅔ cups frozen yogurt
2 tbsp honey (optional) 🍯
2 tbsp boiling water (optional) 💧
10 large hulled strawberries (optional) 🍓
Fresh mint, for garnish 🌱
INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ (This step is optional) Combine the 🍯 and boiling 💧in a liquid measuring cup, stirring until the honey has dissolved. Pour into a blender, then add the hulled 🍓; puree until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a container, pressing the puree through with a spoon. Discard the solids; cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
2️⃣ Thread fruit on skewers.🍡 Grill kabobs, 2 minutes on each side, at 375-400 degrees.
3️⃣ Remove from the grill.
4️⃣ To serve, spoon about 1/2 cup of fruit into each small bowl or parfait glass. Top each portion with a 1/3-cup scoop of the frozen yogurt, then drizzle with the chilled strawberry sauce. Garnish with 🌱; serve right away.
Total time: 15 minutes (makes 8 servings).
